Women's Tennis Tops Delhi 8-1

The Pioneers won five of the six singles matches, with victories from freshmen Morgan Willis (), Sabrina Pin and Camryn Sullivan (), as well as junior Bianca Bockhaus (Shenorock, NY/Somers) and sophomore Selma Ahmetasevic (Utica, NY/T.R. Proctor). UC also dominated all three doubles matches as well. Junior Madeline McIlnay (York, PA/York Suburban) and Morgan Willis () took first doubles by a score of 8-6. Pin and Sullivan kept pace in second doubles with a 8-3 win, and Brockhaus and Ahmetasevic recorded the most convincing doubles victory with an 8-2 win. The Pioneers advanced to 1-0 with this win, and they have a two-game road trip this weekend at Houghton on Saturday and Plattsburgh State on Sunday.
