Monroe Mustangs Women’s Soccer Stays at No. 1 in NJCAA Rankings after Week off
CHARLOTTE, N.C., September 30, 2019 – After taking the past week off, the Monroe College Mustangs women's soccer team maintained its No. 1 ranking in the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer Rankings for Week 5, as announced by the NJCAA on Monday. The Mustangs rank second in the NJCAA with an average of 8.33 goals scored per game this season. Sydoney Clarke's 6.00 points per game are fifth-best in the nation, while her 2.67 goals per game are fourth in the NJCAA. Luana Grabias ranks seventh in the NJCAA with 5.33 points per game. The Mustangs are not scheduled to play again until Tuesday, Oct 8, when they host Suffolk County Community College at Flowers Park in New Rochelle. That game is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
