EWING, N.J. – The College of New Jersey field hockey team remained second in the NFHCA rankings Tuesday before remaining unbeaten with an 8-1 victory over Eastern University. The Lions improved to 10-0, while the Eagles dropped to 3-9. The 10-0 start is the best for the Lions since 2015, when the team started 12-0. TCNJ out-shot Eastern 30-5. The Lions begin a three-game road trip when they travel to William Paterson for a 1 p.m. start Saturday.
