The Lions are Bowl Bound

Garden City, NY) The Nassau Community College Lions under coach Jamel Ramsay have done it again. Finishing 19th in the country's Junior College Polls the Lions have been invited to the feature game of the Graphics Edge Bowl to be played December 8th, 2019 in Cedar Falls Iowa. The Lions finished their regular season 7-3 notably beating #12 Georgia Military, early in the season. Matching last year's regular season record the team is hoping to repeat the results of last year's bowl game; where they defeated Northland Community and Technical College 46-6, winning the Red Grange Bowl. The Graphics Edge Bowl was first played in 1978 and this will be the Lions second appearance at the bowl (2004). The Graphics Edge bowl is only 1 of 5 Junior College bowls in the country being played this fall.
