Men’s Soccer Adds Diogo Rebelo to 2020 Roster

NEWARK, NJ--NJIT men's soccer head coach Fernando Barboto announced the addition of Diogo Rebelo who will join the Highlanders in the Fall 2020.

Rebelo, a 5-foot-7 midfielder, comes to NJIT after playing for the New York Red Bulls and Porto Portugal Academy teams.

"Diogo is a very talented player with great midfield qualities", 2019 ASUN Conference Coach of the Year Barboto commented. "He has excellent passing ability and soccer brain. He will bolster our midfield immediately."

Rebelo intends to major in business at NJIT.
