Women's Basketball Checks in at No. 1 in First Regional Rankings

ITHACA, N.Y. - The first public NCAA Division III Women's Basketball regional rankings were released on Feb. 12th. Ithaca claimed the No. 1 spot in the East Region followed by NYU at No. 2 with a 16-4 record and local rival Cortland at No. 3 with a 17-2 record. Ithaca handed Cortland its first loss of the season back in November in the Bombers' home opener. Ithaca is now 16-5 overall with a 12-2 mark in Liberty League play, putting IC at No. 1 in the conference. The Bombers return home tomorrow to begin a four-game homestand to close out the regular-season. IC hosts Clarkson at 5:30 p.m. before taking on St. Lawrence on Saturday at 2 p.m.
