BOWL BOUND! No. 6 Monroe Mustangs Football Accepts Invitation to The Graphic Edge Bowl to Take on No

This year's The Graphic Edge Bowl Feature Game will be a rematch of the 2018 The Graphic Edge Bowl Opening Game, in which the No. 12-ranked Mustangs took on the No. 16-ranked Tritons at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Monroe took the loss in its first-ever bowl game three years ago, and will look to avenge that defeat this time around.

The Mustangs played in the 2019 Salt City Bowl, hosted by Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kan. The No. 18-ranked Mustangs were defeated by the No. 3-ranked Blue Dragons at Gowans Stadium, and will be looking for their first-ever bowl-game victory this year.

The Mustangs enter The Graphic Edge Bowl after finishing the regular season unbeaten for the first time, while also achieving its first-ever 10-win season. The Mustangs had notable victories throughout the season against No. 12 Georgia Military College, No. 11 Lackawanna College and Div. III No. 1 Nassau Community College, the latter two taking place on the road.

Iowa Central owns an 8-2 regular-season record heading into The Graphic Edge Bowl this year. Iowa Central opened its season with a neutral-site victory against Lackawanna College. The Tritons' only two losses this season came at the hands of Iowa Western Community College, which concluded the regular season as the only undefeated team in the NJCAA, and will enter the NJCAA's first-ever playoff tournament as the No. 1-ranked team in the country.
