Wright-Foreman Makes Utah Jazz Opening Night Roster
Hempstead, NY - Former Hofstra men's basketball student-athlete Justin Wright-Foreman will realize one of his life's goals on Wednesday evening when he suits up for the Utah Jazz as the 2019-20 National Basketball Association season gets underway. Wright-Foreman earned a spot on the opening night roster, it was announced by the Jazz on Monday evening. The Jazz will host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday at Vivnt Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. local time. Wright-Foreman became the 12th player in program history to be taken in the NBA Draft when the Jazz selected him 53rd overall (second round). He was the first since Charles Jenkins was drafted 44th (second round) by the Golden State Warriors in 2011.
