Women's Basketball Remains at No. 7 in D2SIDA East Poll

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Following their Saturday win over 22nd-ranked Saint Anselm, the Pace University women's basketball team remained in the No. 7 slot of the most recent D2SIDA East Region Poll released on Monday. The Setters now stand at 12-4 overall and 5-2 inside the NE10 after their victory over the Hawks. Pace held Saint Anselm, which entered as the top offense in the NE10, to a season-low 60 points. Junior Lauren Schetter (Beacon, N.Y./Beacon High School) led the stellar defensive efforts for the Blue and Gold, tallying three steals and a block. She also finished the day with her fourth double-double of the season courtesy of 10 points and 10 rebounds—in addition to dishing out five assists. Senior Jackie DelliSanti (Commack, N.Y./Commack) served as the leading scorer for the Blue and Gold. She finished with 18 points, marking the 15th time that she has scored 15 points or more in a game this season. DelliSanti and Schetter were just two of four Setters to reach double figures in the win. Junior Naya Rivera (Pomona, N.Y./North Rockland) dropped in a career-high 16 points while Brianna Wong (River Vale, N.J./Pascack Valley) chalked up 11 points of her own. The Setters are back in action tomorrow evening, traveling to take on Assumption College at 5:30 p.m.
