PRINCETON NO. 9 IN NATIONAL COACHES POLL

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers currently sit No. 9 in the most recent Penn Monto/NFHCA National Coaches' Poll, the organization announced today. The top five in the poll remains the same as the North Carolina stands at top, currently on a 36-game winning streak. Maryland, Connecticut, Duke and Louisville fill out the rest of the top five. Harvard comes in at No. 14. Clara Roth was honored as the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week after securing 12 points in the Tigers' two victories over the previous weekend. The junior picked up her first career hat trick and added an assist as Princeton ran by Brown, 6-0, on Saturday. She contributed two more goals and a helper as the Tigers took down Boston University, 3-1, on Sunday. Roth has corralled a goal in five straight games and in seven of her last eight contests. Princeton will travel to Harvard on Saturday (12 p.m.). These two teams are both undefeated in the Ivy League and have combined to win the last three Ivy titles with the Crimson earning decisions in 2016 and 2018 and the Tigers in 2017. Harvard won at Bedford in the regular season in 2018, but Princeton got the ultimate revenge, defeating their rival in the NCAA Quarterfinals en route to their second Final Four in three years.
